Dania Beach Pier Report

Lately dania pier has been overrun by blue runnner. When I say overrun i mean people are catching like over 200 per day!! There have been some macks hitting lures and some being caught. There also have been yellowtail snapper caught. Lastly the bonito are killing the bait out there, there have been some caught on almost anything spooons lures live bait just throw it in front of there face and they will take it! For blue runners crappie jigs have been working when jigged off the bottom. Gotcha plugs have been working squid on a 3 hook rig or even six hook rig, also they have been caught on jigs, and my favorite way to catch them is to throw the 1/8 rapala x-rap glass ghost! Hope this report helps catch anything thats out there.

Everglades Holiday Park Fishing Report

Peacock bass are on fire! The water level is higher now so if you drop a live shiner on a freeline around the lilys you are bound to get a nice peacock bass. Since the water has been high there have been practically no largemouths out there. There are a lot of oscars out there too. Conditions have been good so far and im sure will continue to be good. There were alot of tarpons jumping out the water tailing and just feeeding on whatever is out there. There have been no bluegill or anything like that around. Hopefully this report will help you in catching whatever is out there.

Lately the water has not been the best and best schools have been scattered. Morning bite for snapper and blue runner has been red hot. The cuda have still shown up there but not many have been caught lately they have been hitting the tubes but missing? Using the hookup lures cuda tube in green and pink. In the past week some cero have been caught using a spoon and live bait, long shank hooks and light line. Tarpon have dissapeared lately. The night bite for permit has been okay off the shore and off the end.
